This word was created from the two hindi words " आ त्मि क दी शा " which mean "spiritual direction".....i just shortened it to Aadisha.
i have retired from medical work now. About twenty years ago....one weekend i really wanted to runaway from work as i was so tired of calls and patients and phones and managing a family and being responsible for umpteen things....i longed for a place to run away to which had no phones, no tv, somebody to cook for me and wash clothes for me.....just to BE and not DO anything ....and the nearest place at that time for me was 2 days journey away...so i had decided that when i retire i will create a "runaway" place _ so here i am twenty years later with Aadisha for you....a runaway place in the Himalayas.
What else happens here?

It is run by Sheila & Laji and their family
It is where individuals, ministry units, groups and
